Subject: Purchase of School Van

For: The Board of Education of the Ada Exempted Village School District, 725 W. North Ave

Ada, Ohio 45810-1013

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Board of Education, Ada Exempted Village School District, Ada, Ohio, at the office of Mrs. Kim Light, Treasurer until 11:00 am on Monday, September 19th, 2016, for one new 10-passenger school van according to the specifications of the Ada Board of Education. Bids will be publicly opened and read by the Treasurer at 11:00 am on September 19th, 2016, at the Board of Education office. Bids received after 11:00 am will be returned unopened.

All bids will state that the van, when assembled and prior to delivery is in compliance with all school district specifications, federal regulations and all other pertinent provisions of law.

Each bid must contain the name of every person interested therein, and shall be accompanied by a Surety Company bid bond or certified check upon a solvent bank, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the Ada Exempted Village Schools, in an amount of ten (10) percent of the amount of bid and conditioned that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured.

Specifications and instructions to bidders are on file at no cost in the office of the Treasurer of said Board, 725 W. North Ave, Ada, Oho 45810-1013; phone 419-634-6421. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
