The Village is making preparations to staff the Ada Municipal Pool
for the 2014 summer season. Applications are currently being accepted
for the following positions at the pool: assistant manager, head
lifeguard, lifeguard and cashier. Some of the positions, such as manager
and head lifeguard, could possibly be combined depending on the
Some qualifications for the positions include:
Manager/Head Life Guard: minimum age of 20; successful American Red
Cross training in the following areas – lifeguard training, community
first aid and safety, and CPR for the professional rescuer; certified
pool operator certificate. Experience in pool management and lifeguard
training is preferred.
Lifeguard: minimum age of 15; successful
American Red Cross training in the following areas – lifeguard training,
community first aid and safety, and CPR for the professional rescuer.
Cashier: minimum age of 15; strong accounting and cash management skills.
Applications are also being accepted for positions in the Village Street Department.
