ADA — Ada Junior Civic League met Monday, April 14, at the home of Phyllis Griffith with co-hostess, Bev Romick. There were 11 present with one guest. During the business meeting, Sherry Evans, President, presided. Anna Poling volunteered to represent JCL at meetings for Town and Gown. The club voted to accept the recommendation of the special projects committee, chaired by Myra Berger, to donate proceeds from our fund raising to three projects at the Ada Schools and a donation to the Ada Public Library summer reading program.

Officers were elected to serve for the 2014-2015 club year. President, Sherry Evans; Vice President, Linda Ferguson; Secretary, Erin Scott; Treasurer, Erin Swick and Corresponding Secretary, Phyllis Griffith will be installed on May 12 at a dinner meeting at The Mustard Seed, in Bluffton. Members who wish to car-pool will meet at the railroad park at 5:30 p.m. and leave at 5:40 p.m. for Bluffton. Dinner is at 6 p.m. for members and guests.

Following the business, a roaring good time was had by all during the annual White Elephant Auction with Sherry Evans serving as auctioneer. This is the last of the club's fund raising for the year.
