ADA — The Ada Public Library is holding a silent auction until Dec. 5. Items are on display in the library and you can have a chance to bid on a Barbie doll gift basket; Angelina Ballerina packaged books and dress up items; a handyman bucket  from the hardware store; tickets from the Freed Performing Arts Center;   gift certificates for dinner at the Mustard Seed restaurant;  a Wizardry package for  Harry Potter fans and several more packaged books, crafts and reading accessories, including a Kindle Fire.

Library Director Amanda Bennett said the proceeds will benefit the Library’s Summer Reading Program, and will fund several performance projects.  As this is the only fundraiser for the Summer Reading Program, donations for the auction can still be submitted and the library will gladly accept any end-of the-year cash donations, as well.
