  • Ada girls edge Ottoville
    ADA - The Ada girls basketball team defeated visiting Ottoville 59-57 in a non-conference battle Saturday afternoon. 
  • MIDDLE POINT — Behind a 28-point second quarter explosion, Lincolnview’s boys routed Allen East, 66-41, in a Northwest Conference game on Friday night.

  • CONVOY — The Crestview defense wreaked havoc on Ada’s offense Friday night in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams, resulting in a 60-40 Knight win that wasn’t even as close as the final score indicated. Crestview is now 3-2 overall while Ada is 1-1.

  • DOLA — Liberty-Benton held Hardin Northern to single scoring in every quarter Thursday night as the Eagles claimed a 76-25 Blanchard Valley Conference win.

    The Eagles had a 16-4 lead after the opening quarter and were up 37-11 at halftime. Liberty-Benton continued to put up the points with a 26-7 third quarter scoring advantage.

    Lauren Koty led the Eagles with 20 points, while Nicolette Devincentis added 18 points and Katie Simon finished with 17 points.

    Brooklyn Watts had seven points and four rebounds for the Polar Bears and Michaela Curtis added six points.

  • MCGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley blasted out to an early lead in beating Ridgemont 84-18 Thursday evening. 
  • RAWSON - The Ada wrestling team split a pair of dual matches Wednesday night to run their record to 5-2.
    Ada lost to Carey 45-27 but crushed Cory-Rawson, 66-6. 
  • Ada girls fall late in NWC barnburner to Crestview
    ADA - For three-plus quarters, the Ada girls basketball team outplayed visiting perennial power Crestview Thursday night in their key Northwest Conference early season girls basketball showdown. 
  • COLUMBUS — Junior Karissa Steffas lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team past Capital 67-58 Saturday at the Capital Center. 
  • ADA — The 2014 Ohio Northern men's soccer team had another winning season under 17th year head coach Brent Ridenour. 
  • ADA — The 2014 Ohio Northern women's soccer team had another winning season under 11th year head coach Mark Batman. 
  • RIDGEWAY - Visiting Ada tipped off its long-awaited boys basketball opener by beating Hardin County foe Ridgemont handily Tuesday evening, 75-52. 
  • ARLINGTON - Visiting Ada lost to Arlington 56-46 in a non-conference girls basketball battle Saturday afternoon to suffer their first defeat of the season. 
  • NAPOLEON - The Ada boys and girls swim teams each finished seventh at the 14-team Napoleon Wildcat Invitational swim meet Saturday. 
  • MIDDLE POINT - Eight of Ada's 12 wrestlers placed in their weight class at the Lancer Invitational Saturday as the Bulldog wrestlers finished a strong third out of 15 teams and took two top individual honors. 
  • VAN BUREN — Van Buren outscored Hardin Northern in the second half Thursday evening to claim a 53-41 Blanchard Valley Conference win.
