  • UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team played well in a difficult environment, but dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at No. 10-ranked John Carroll on Saturday night at Don Shula Stadium.
  • UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern football team scored touchdowns on both of its overtime possessions and got a big defensieve stop on a 4th and 8 to hold on for a 27-20 double overtime victory at John Carroll on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Don Shula Stadium.
  • ASHLAND — The Ada girls soccer team lost at Ashland Crestview 9-1 in Div. III sectional first round play Saturday evening to be eliminated from the tournament.
  • VAN WERT — Ada sophomore Abbie James finished 12th in the Northwest Conference cross country championship meet at the Van Wert Reservoir Saturday morning.

  • ADA — Senior J.J. Fortner (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) scored two first half goals to help lift the Ohio Northern men's soccer team to a 4-0 shutout victory over No. 8-ranked Heidelberg on Wednesday evening at Kerscher Stadium.

  • COLUMBUS GROVE — The visiting Ada volleyball team clinched its second consecutive outright Northwest Conference title with a straight-set showdown win at Columbus Grove Tuesday night in the regular season finale.
  • KENTON — Ada sophomore Abbie James took second to pace the Lady Bulldog cross country team at the Hardin County Invitational meet Monday in Kenton.
