    BOWLING GREEN — Ada junior Zach Beaschler won two matches without losing a game Thursday at the Div. II boys district singles tennis tournament to advance to the semifinals in Bowling Green Saturday.

  • ADA — The Ada softball team lost 10-0 to visiting Spencerville in the Northwest Conference and regular season finale at the local park Saturday afternoon.
  • ADA — Visiting Spencerville shut out Ada 16-0 in the Northwest Conference and season finale Saturday afternoon at the local park diamond.
  • BLUFFTON — Ada senior Grace Nelson won the shot put and took third in the discus to pace the Bulldogs at the annual nine-team Northwest Conference title meet in Bluffton Thursday and Saturday.
  • DEFIANCE — Two Ada boys tennis players advanced to districts out of the Div. II sectionals at Defiance Friday and Saturday.
