  • ADA — Visiting Riverdale took advantage of a lengthy Ada mid-game offensive drought to register a 60-43 win in a non-conference girls basketball contest Tuesday evening.
  • ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team is ranked No. 15 in the third weekly D3Hoops.com coaches poll, and remained at No. 16 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll, both released Tuesday, Dec. 12.

  • MIDDLE POINT — Ada senior Chase Sumner was named tournament MVP after leading the Bulldog wrestling team to a strong second- place finish at the 12-team Lincolnview Invitational Saturday.
  • OTTOVILLE — Unbeaten host Ottoville pulled away from a close game near halftime to post an 83-51 non-league win over the Ada boys basketball team Saturday night.
  • ALLIANCE — The No. 15-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team used a balanced offensive scoring attack to claim its seventh straight victory as they defeated Mount Union 63-52 at the MAAC on Saturday afternoon.
  • ADA — Junior Ryan Bruns (Chickasaw/Marion Local) used a 30-point effort, while senior Nate Burger (Dayton/Alter) flirted with a triple-double to lead the Ohio Northern men's basketball team to an 86-82 victory over visiting Mount Union on Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
  • KALIDA — Host Kalida smothered the Ada boys basketball team 64-18 Friday night in a non-league contest.
