  • LIMA — The Ada varsity swim team is sending five individuals and two relay teams to district competition after they made solid showings at the Div. II sectional meet in Lima Saturday.
  • HARROD — Except for an outstanding third quarter, it was a tough Thursday night for Crestview at Allen East. That third period, though, was more than enough to power the Lady Knights to a 46-31 win.

  • ADA — The Ada girls basketball team capped a fine regular season by dominating visiting Lincolnview 50-25 in the Northwest Conference and regular season finale Thursday evening.
  • LIMA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team opened the Spring portion of its 2015-16 schedule with a 9-0 victory over Concordia (Mich.) Tuesday afternoon inside at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.
  • TIFFIN — The No. 11-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team posted a 70-51 victory over Heidelberg Wednesday evening at Seiberling Gymnasium.
  • ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team came out strong in the first half en route to a 77-74 victory over Heidelberg Wednesday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
  • LIMA — Hardin Northern held Lima Perry to six points in the second half as they claimed a 55-27 non-league win Wednesday evening.
  • MCGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley girls basketball team closed out the regular season Tuesday evening with a 55-49 non-league win over Marion Pleasant.
  • FOSTORIA — Visiting Ada outscored Fostoria 31-25 in the second half to post a 51-47 non-conference girls basketball win Tuesday evening.

  • WAPAKONETA — The Ada boys basketball team will face New Bremen in Div. IV first round sectional play at Coldwater on Tuesday, February 23.
  • ADA — Visiting Bluffton held Ada to a season-low point total in recording a 41-27 Northwest Conference boys basketball win Friday night.
