KENTON — Riverdale captured the girls title at the six-team Hardin County track and field meet in Kenton Monday evening.
Riverdale edged the host Lady Wildcats 145.5-140 to take first place. Ada took third with 99 points while Hardin Northern finished fourth (54.5), Ridgemont fifth (43), and Upper Scioto Valley last (41).
Ada senior sprint ace Brittney Archer won the 200 meters in 26.5, and sophomore Carlee Marshall took first in the long jump (15-8.5).
The Bulldog girls also won the 4 x 100 (54.3) and 4 x 200 (1:52.8) relays, anchored by Archer.
The purple and gold host the annual Ada Invitational all day this Saturday.
