MARION — The Ada boys tennis team swept Marion Harding 5-0 on a warm Friday evening.

The Bulldogs improved to 5-2 with the convincing victory as they won all 10 sets and 60 of 67 games.

Junior Zach Beaschler improved his singles mark to 6-0 this spring with an easy double bagel victory.

Sophomore Cade Mullins also won at second singles without losing a game. Freshman Isaac Spar cruised to a straight-sets win at third singles.

Both Ada doubles duos won easily in straight sets as well. Evan Smittle and Eli Garmon dopped just two games at first doubles, while Justin Light and Ace Gamble won while losing just three games at second doubles.

"We played well on this gorgeous day," said Ada coach Christy Beaschler. "Both doubles had some great points and it was nice to see everyone bounce back after playing a tough match with Clyde Wednesday.

"We just need to keep playing strong," she added.
