BELLEFONTAINE - The Ada volleyball team stayed undefeated with a hard-fought 25-17, 21-25, 26-24, 25-19 victory at Ben Logan Monday night.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-0 with the big win over the perennial power.
"It was an amazing game!" enthused Bulldog head coach Melissa Gossard. "It was a great win for our volleyball team. We played so scrappy and with a lot of heart. I am very proud of our team, and this is just what we need going into conference play."
Many Bulldogs made key contributions to the win.
Ada senior Lindsay Walden knocked down 11 kills while Rachel Wildman amassed 10 kills and nine digs. Senior Tori Wyss came up with 17 digs and served one ace.
Junior Megan Simon dealt three aces and hustled up 15 digs. Junior Carlee Marshall drilled nine kills and made four blocks. Junior Morgan Sutton doled out 23 assists, served an ace and made seven digs.
The Ada JV won 25-23, 25-14 and the Bulldog freshmen made it a clean sweep 25-13, 25-18.
The Bulldogs resume play Saturday morning in a road tri-match with local non-league foes Cory-Rawson and Waynesfield.
