DELPHOS - Ada junior Noah Beach was named first team All-Northwest Conference in football on both the offensive and defensive lines in voting conducted earlier this week by the league coaches at Delphos.

Bulldogs joining Beach on the All-NWC offensive first team are senior quarterback Matt Wilcox, senior wide receiver Austin Dumbaugh and junior lineman Levi Bass.

Ada senior Saed Al-Olimat joined Beach on the first team all-league defense.

Dumbaugh and Wilcox added second team all-conference defensive honors to their first team all-defense resume. Dumbaugh was named as a defensive end while Wilcox made it as a defensive back.

Junior defensive lineman Lane Nitchie and sophomore linebacker Blake Ansley also made the second team All-NWC defensive unit.

Ada senior wideout Spencer Archer and sophomore offensive lineman Justin Shoemaker were named honorable mention all-league on offense. Junior Bass also made honorable mention defense at linebacker.

Ada shared the NWC title with Delphos Jefferson and Crestview at 6-1.

DJ senior tight end Ross Thompson was voted NWC Lineman of the Year.

Jefferson senior running back Zavier Buzard was named NWC Back of the Year and DJ mentor Bub Lindeman was tabbed NWC Coach of the Year as Jefferson swept the individual awards.

Thompson, Beach, Scott Miller (Crestview) and Robbie Stratton (Bluffton) were the only players to make first team all-league on both sides of the ball.
