DELAWARE -- Junior Catie Huber finished third in the 1,500-meter run to lead the Ohio Northern women's outdoor track & field team at the All-Ohio Championships on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan.

The Polar Bears finished 14th of 19 teams with 17.5 points.

Mount Union won the team title with 136 points, Ohio Wesleyan was second with 123 points and No. 14 Baldwin Wallace finished third with 114.5 points.

Huber crossed the finish line in 4:41.12 for her third place finish.

The 4x400-meter relay team of junior Gabrielle Metzner, sophomore Brittany Lee, sophomore Kristine Wagner and freshman Michelle Mosler finished fourth in 4:04.03.

Freshman Dianna Johnson-Ward finished in a tie for seventh in the long jump, posting a leap of 5.11 meters (16-9.25) and senior Laura Avino recorded an eighth place finish in the 800-meter run in 2:23.06.

Ohio Northern will return to action on April 19, when it competes at the Kenyon Invitational. Events are scheduled to begin at noon.
