ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's soccer team had five members selected as Academic All-Ohio in voting done by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).



Senior Abbie Schauble, senior Abby Vargo and junior Kristina Klusek all earned First Team Academic All-Ohio honors.

Senior Lauren Brown was named Second Team Academic All-Ohio and sophomore Emily Brodict earned Honorable Mention Academic-All Ohio accolades.

Schauble earns her third straight Academic All-Ohio selection.

The pharmacy major concludes her career with 84 matches played, which is tied for fourth most in program history.

Vargo, a early childhood education major, earns her first Academic All-Ohio honor.

She played and started in all 21 matches this season and was named OAC Defender of the Year.

This is the first time Klusek has been named Academic All-Ohio.

She is a nursing major and finished the season tied for the team lead with 18 points.

Brown, a business major, earns her second consecutive Academic All-Ohio accolade.

She was also named Capital One Academic All-District this season.

Brodict made 78 saves while starting 20 matches this season.

This is the first Academic All-Ohio honor for the pharmacy major.

Under head coach Mark Batman, Ohio Northern posted a 10-9-2 record on the season and finished tied for third with a 6-3-0 mark in the OAC.
