Lady Bulldog netters win again

ADA - Tessa Coulson and Olivia Gonder won the decisive match at second doubles to break a 2-2 tie and lead the unbeaten Ada tennis team to a 3-2 victory over Marion Harding in the Lady Bulldog home opener Thursday.
The hard-fought win improved Ada's record to 5-0. Bulldog junior Mackenzie Wills improved to 4-0 at first singles with an easy win as she dropped just one game.
Meredith Marshall won a marathon 11-9 tiebreaker to capture a 90-minute, 7-6 first set before rolling to a 6-0 second-set win at third singles.
After dropping a close opening set at second singles, Alex James won set two 6-1 and rallied from a 5-1 deficit in the third before coming up just short, 7-5.
Bulldogs Libbie Milks and Quinn High narrowly lost a tight three-set battle at first doubles, falling 7-5 in the third.

#2 Doubles: Tessa Coulson/Olivia Gonder (Ada) def. Alli Russell/Ashleigh Lindsay (MH) 6-3, 7-6 (7-3)
Ada puts its undefeated mark on the line Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ottawa-Glandorf.
