RIDGEWAY - The Ada volleyball team went to Ridgemont Thursday night and beat the Hardin County rival Gophers handily in straight sets by a 25-22, 25-10, 25-11 count.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-0 with the win, and they have won all nine games they have played thus far.
Senior Lindsay Walden amassed six kills and one block. Junior Carlee Marshall and freshman Melina Woods each compiled four blocks.
Senior Alexis Amburgey dished out 43 assists and added one kill. Junior libero Megan Simon came up with 10 digs, while senior Tori Wyss served two aces, knocked down two kills and made five digs.
The Ada JV also won 25-17, 25-18.
The Lady Bulldog spikers face their first big test Monday evening at Ben Logan.
