VANLUE — Hardin Northern's softball team remained undefeated in the Blanchard Valley Conference with a 11-1, five inning, win over Vanlue Wednesday.
The Polar Bears are 4-0 in the BVC and 6-2 overall.
Hardin Northern came out swinging scoring four times in the top of the first inning Addy Bame had a solo home run in the inning and Taylir Schiewe had an RBI single to get the Lady Bears going. Lea Rowe had a two run single in the second inning as Hardin Northern took a 6-1 lead.
The early run support was enough for Bame as she tossed a three hitter, while striking out 12 Vanlue batters.
Kylee Hooker had a single and double for the Polar Bears, while Bame had two singles to go along with her home run. Michaela Curtis had three singles and an RBI and Rowe had a single and triple with two RBIs.
