DOLA — North Baltimore scored three times in the sixth inning Friday to rally for a 6-3 non-league win over Hardin Northern.
The Polar Bears had a 3-2 lead going to the sixth inning when the Tigers pushed across three runs to take the lead. They added an insurance run in the seventh inning.
Katelyn Weinandy picked up the win for North Baltimore as she went the distance allowing three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts.
Jasmine McNett had three hits and an RBI for the Tigers, while Makalya Light and Paige Hyatt both had two hits and an RBI. Weinandy had two hits in the game for the Tigers.
Quinn Stewart-Evans took the loss for Hardin Northern as she allowed six runs on 13 hits with two strikeouts and a walk.
Madison Robson had a single, double and RBI and Stewart-Evans had a single and RBI. Ashton Dye had two singles for the Polar Bears.
