ADA — Next week, the streets of Ada will be overrun by cute costumed pixies, horrifically visaged monsters, and, undoubtedly, painted masses of the living dead.
No worries. It’s Halloween. And there are plenty of celebrations.

• On Monday, Oct. 22, the Ada Kiwanis will host it’s annual Halloween Parade. Registration for the ghoulish line-up is set for 5:30 p.m., with the parade beginning at 6. Judging of participants will take place at the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Depot.
• On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Ohio Northern University students will open their dorm room doors to Trick or Treaters. Registration for the event is at 5 p.m. in the McIntosh Center activities room. At 5:15, students will escort participants through the residence halls. A dinner is set for 6 p.m. in the ballroom at McIntosh Center, and the evening will wrap up with a costume contest at 6:30 p.m.
• Finally, on Thursday, Oct. 25, the village will conduct  official Trick-or-Treating throughout Ada from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
