Where were you born? Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Martinsville, Indiana.

What brought you to this area? Or kept you here?
My husband accepted a position at ONU in the Raabe College of Pharmacy in 2015.

What is your occupation?
My primary occupation is as a wife and mother.  For the last two years, I have been an assistant coach with the ONU Swimming and Diving teams.

Why do you love what you do?
I love being a wife and mother because it honors God.  He has given me a fantastic husband and son that I am tasked with teaching and training.  Working with the swimmers and divers is an added bonus.  I swam collegiately, and it has been fun helping and learning about swimming from a coaching perspective.

What is your favorite thing about this community?
Ada is a place where we can belong and develop as a family and community.  We can also walk or ride our bike anywhere!  We couldn’t do that in Melbourne.

What are you involved within the community?
I presently serve on the Ada Library Board of Trustees and will be serving as Board President in 2019.  ONU Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach and Polar Bear Swim School/Clinics.

What are some of your hobbies?
We love sports!  Besides swimming, our family likes to play tennis, soccer, and we walk a lot.  I enjoy traveling and cooking.
