Where were you born? Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Toledo Ohio primarily on the west side, close to the intersection of Secor and Alexis which is known as the Trilby area and I attended and graduated from Whitmer High School.

What brought you to this area? Or kept you here?

My wife and I moved to the Ada area in 1998 to be the assistant pastor at Liberty Baptist, which we have remained in the area ever since.

What is your occupation?

The senior pastor Lon Taylor retired in July of 2017 where I then became the senior pastor of Liberty Baptist Church.

Why do you love what you do?

I love being the pastor there of a small rural Country Church, where the people are very loving, gracious, and very generous. They have a heart for God, love his word and are very faithful in attending church services. They have a deep burden for getting the Gospel of Jesus Christ out locally and worldwide. God has given us a heart for these people in this area, we really appreciate the little slower Pace than living in a bigger city like Toledo Ohio and we love the rural setting. I am very thankful for an opportunity to serve the Lord in this capacity after accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior and Monroe County Jail of August of 1991, the Lord has done a marvelous and wonderful work in my life. I want others to know what the Lord has done for me he also can do for them.

What are you involved in within the community?

We love the Ada area and it’s community. We participate in the activities and support it by prayer and any other involvement we can be in.

What is your favorite thing about this community?

We love Ada’s history and its heritage and appreciate the country that still inside it’s people.

What are some of your hobbies?

On a personal note when I’m not busy pastoring, I enjoy the Friday night High School football games and the local golf courses.
