HARDIN COUNTY — With the November general election just a month away, Hardin County voters are faced with a host of contested county, state and federal seats. With that in mind, area media outlets, the political group AHEAD, and both the Hardin County Republican and Hardin County Democratic Parties have sponsored an opportunity for voters to meet candidates and listen to their responses to questions put to them by representatives of the Kenton Times, the Ada Icon and The Ada Herald.

Set to appear are Tim Striker (R) and Ronnie Eastman (D), who are vying for a seat on the Hardin County Board of Commissioners; County Auditor Michael Bacon (R); Jon Cross (R) and Mary Harshfield (D), who are competing for a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives; Ohio Senate candidates Adam Papin (D) and Rob McColley (R); and Mike Galbraith, who is campaigning for the U.S. House of Representatives seat currently held by incumbent Bob Latta.

An Evening with Your Candidates, organized by Hardin County Talks, is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 1025 South Main Street, Kenton.
