ADA — Students involved with band, choir and Varsity Singers brought home fundraising forms this week for the launch of the biggest fundraising effort in the history of the music boosters.

They are offering  frozen treats, cookie dough, and pizzas from Great American. New this year is a $20 coupon app to use at several restaurants and stores for discounts for a year; travel mugs with colleges as well as a custom ADA design, plus a tuition program offering credits towards college tuition based on the student’s sales. Ada Music Teacher Abby Glenn explained the tuition credits can be used at ONU, as well as many other private schools. All orders need to be in by Oct. 22.  If you have any questions, contact Glenn at or call 419-634-2746.

Cliff Maier, President of the Ada Music Boosters is requesting volunteers to sign up for this year’s Music Feast event. Maier indicated there is a lot that needs to be set up on Friday, Nov. 6, the night before the big event.  Volunteers are needed that day after school is dismissed to help set up tables, secure lockers, hang signs, and other activities. A special sign up was created on VolunteerSpot  for that particular night. Although no sign up is required, it helps to estimate the number of volunteers the boosters can expect. There are no shifts or specific duties to sign up for  and volunteers can come and go as they please. An email invitation will be sent to present members, which contains a link to sign up.

Maier stated that they would appreciate any help even if you cannot stay for very long. He also noted that VolunteerSpot does not share email addresses with anyone, but if you prefer not to use your email address, please contact him to sign up manually. He can be reached at
