ADA - Seventeen years ago last Tuesday, the nation was rocked by an unprecedented attack on the United States. Nearly 3,000 were killed on Sept. 11, 2001, when hijackers took control of five passenger planes and crashed four: two into the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon, and the fourth in a Pennsylvania field.

Members of the Ada/Liberty Township Fire Department and EMS held a memorial Tuesday evening, honoring those who dies, including 412 of their fellow emergency responders.
