Rockapella, the world-renowned contemporary a capella group, will perform at Ohio Northern University's Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26.

Rockapella is an original, five-man powerhouse of vocal talent. They blend soul, rock, rhythm and blues as one of the most accomplished contemporary a cappella groups in the world.

Since 2003, Rockapella has traveled across the country with their annual "A Rockapella Holiday" tour. They also have collaborated with the Boston Pops orchestra in sold-out venues throughout the US. The group is currently touring the globe and laying the foundation for their next recording.

Ohio Northern's own Northernaire ensemble will open the show.

Northernaire members include Molly Howard, a senior music education major from Coudersport, Pa.; Sydney Kuhlman, a senior communication arts major from Ada, Ohio; Virginia Harrod, a senior music education major from Fairfax, Va.; Brianna Bizzaro, a sophomore music education major from Port Allegany, Pa.; Eric Smith, a junior music performance major from Toledo, Ohio; Kyle Roby, a senior social studies major from Bluffton, Ohio; Michael Bizzaro, a senior music education major from Port Allegany, Pa.; and Tim Smith, a senior music education major from Westerville, Ohio.

Tickets are $35 for general admission.
