THANK YOU Ada for continuing to believe in our community and having pride in our town. What a wonderful day we shared at the 27th Annual Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest and Herb Festival. There are so many "Thanks" that need to be given for helping to make the festival a success. Thank You, Thank you, Thank you to Jeff and Deb Oestrich for co-chairing the festival and Anna Poling for chairing the Parade. Thank you to the Ada Fire and EMS department for your participation and service. Thank you to Ada Police department for your help. Thank you Diane and Les Thede for distributing festival posters. Thank you Jim Meyer, Fred Searson and the Village workers for all your insight and assistance. Thank you to Cole Motors for graciously sharing your car lot with us for the day as the "center" of the festival. Thank you Keith Nickelson for supervising the sound system and being our master of ceremonies. Thank you to several members of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce for helping to oversee set up and clean up. Thank you to Community Market for supplying the trash boxes for the day. Thank you to Marc Staley, Tony Wolke and the ONU Physical Plant for their help with equipment. Thank you Miss Ohio, Elissa McCracken, for overseeing the crowning of this year's Harvest and Herb Queen and her court. Thank you to Holly Weber for also assisting with the Queen ceremony. Thank you to the 2012 Harvest and Herb Queen, Erica Kier, for presiding over the day. Thank you to Garrett Oestrich and Kurt Thomson for overseeing the day long clean up. Thank you to the Ada Liberty Belles and Boys 4-H club and the Ada midget football team in assisting with the festival cleanup. As you can see, it does take a village to achieve greatness and thankfully, it is easy to find greatness in our village.
