  • BEREA — The seventh-seeded Ohio Northern women's basketball program advanced to its 10th straight Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinal Tuesday evening, toppling second-seeded Baldwin Wallace 70-53 at Ursprung Gymnasium in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
  • ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day with a 79-63 victory over Muskingum on Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
  • NEW CONCORD — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team finished its regular season with a 75-62 victory at Muskingum on Saturday afternoon at Performance Court.
  • FINDLAY — The #34 Ohio Northern men's track and field team was led by first place finishes from sophomore Sam Krabacher (Hamilton/Badin), freshman Nate Dean (Euclid/Villa Angela Saint Joseph), and junior Griffin Skaff (Canton, Mich./Salem) Saturday at the Flag City Open inside Malcolm Athletic Center.
  • FINDLAY — Freshman Kayla Silva (Westerville/South), senior Michaela Fox (Bellevue), and the 4x400 relay team posted victories to pace the No. 25-ranked Ohio Northern women's track and field team at the Flag City Open at the Malcolm Athletic Center on Saturday.
  • AKRON — Senior Kierra Watson (Brownsburg, Ind.) and juniors Lauren Halle (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) and Libby Sartschev (Parma/Normandy) each captured individual event titles for the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving program Saturday evening on the third and final day of the 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships inside Ocasek Natatorium in Akron.
  • AKRON — Junior swimmer Nolan Huey (Fort Collins, Colo./Fossil Ridge) claimed his third Ohio Athletic Conference event title in as many days Saturday evening, leading the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team on the third and final day of the 2019 OAC Championships at Ocasek Natatorium in Akron.
  • HARROD — The Ada wrestling team finished sixth at the eight-team Northwest Conference championship meet Saturday at Allen East High School.
  • ADA — Ada sophomore Brandon Hull sank a fast break layup with seven seconds left, and the Bulldogs dodged a last-ditch halfcourt heave at the horn to post a thrilling 55-54 non-conference boys basketball win over visiting Lima Temple Christian Saturday night.
  • BOWLING GREEN — Ada junior Klava Katayama finished second in two events at the Div. II swim districts hosted by Bowling Green State University Friday evening to earn another return visit to the state meet at Canton.
  • AKRON — Ohio Northern senior Kierra Watson (Brownsburg, Ind.) and junior Lauren Halle (Chandler Ariz./Hamilton) each won individual event titles for the ONU women's swimming and diving program Friday evening on the second day of the 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasek Natatorium in Akron.
  • AKRON — Junior Nolan Huey (Fort Collins, Colo./Fossil Ridge) secured his second 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship event title Friday evening, leading the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving program's efforts on day two at the OAC Championships inside Ocasek Natatorium in Akron.
  • COLUMBUS GROVE — Host Columbus Grove broke away from a close game at halftime to beat spunky Ada 60-43 and clinch at least a tie for the  Northwest Conference boys basketball crown Friday night. 
  • ADA — Visiting Columbus Grove won a share of the Northwest Conference girls basketball title with a 66-15 victory over Ada Thursday evening in the regular season finale.
  • ADA — Visiting Waynesfield-Goshen rode a strong first quarter to a big lead and went on to post a 45-28 win over Ada in non-league girls basketball action Tuesday night.
