BLUFFTON — Bluffton jumped out to an early lead and never let up in handing Upper Scioto Valley a 74-31 non-league setback Thursday evening.

The Rams jumped out to a 23-8 first quarter lead behind a big opening eight minutes from Katie Prater. Prater scored 13 points in the opening quarter as she hit three three-pointers. Avery Rumer had four points for Bluffton, while Haylie Martin had four points for the Rams.

Bluffton added to its lead in the second quarter as they were up 37-15 at the break.

With her big start, Prater finished with 20 points, while Libby Schaadt had 14 points and Avery Rumer finished with 13 points.

Martin had a game high 21 points for the Rams and Graesen Evans added six points.
