DOLA — Hardin Northern’s volleyball team won a wild fourth game to defeat Ridgemont Tuesday evening 25-21, 25-22, 10-25, 27-25 in Northwest Central Conference action.

Renee Newton served up seven aces for the Polar Bears (5-2, 10-11) along with nine kills, four blocks and three digs. Alex Jackson had two aces, eight kills, four blocks and two digs and Megan Miller had two aces, eight kills, a block and four digs.

Kennedy Hall had 29 assists, two aces and a dig in the win.

“Renee's serves in the last match really brought us back and helped us win the last match,” Hardin Northern coach Kylee Hooker said. “Renee. Alex and Morgan all had an amazing night hitting at the net and Kennedy helped them with her great sets.”

Hardin Northern won the JV contest 25-18, 25-20 and the freshman contest 25-22, 25-20.
