ROCKFORD — Upper Scioto Valley’s baseball team fell victim to a pair of Parkway hurlers Tuesday afternoon as they dropped a 12-0 decision in a Division IV sectional semi-final game.

Parkway’s Jack Wehe and a teammate combined to no-hit the Rams in the five inning game. Wehe went three innings for the Panthers striking out five and walking one batter.

Parkway took the lead with four runs in the first inning and scored another four runs in the third inning. They scored twice in each of the second and fourth innings.

Nick Hawk had a single and two RBIs for the Panthers (10-12), while Breyden Bruns had twos ingles and an RBI. Corey Walls had two singles, Wehe a single, while Nick Riley and Seth Stukey both had an RBI for Parkway.

Wayne Lowery took the loss for USV as he went 2 1/3 innings allowing three earned runs n four hits with a strikeout and seven walks. The Rams committed five errors in the game leading to seven unearned runs for the Panthers.
