ADA — The Ohio Northern softball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference for the 2020 season, as voted on by the league's coaches.

The Polar Bears received 60 points.

Muskingum was first with 75 points and five first-place votes, edging Baldwin Wallace, which had 74 points and four first-place votes. Otterbein received the final first-place vote and was picked third with 62 points.

Fourth-year head coach Jackie Price returns seven starters—including senior Gabby Stewart (Union, Ky./St. Henry) and sophomore Rachel Hish (Gainesville, Va./Patriot), both 1st Team All-OAC honorees in 2019—and nine letterwinners from the 2019 team that went 23-19 overall and 14-4 in conference, finishing second in the OAC.

Ohio Northern opens up its 2020 slate beginning March 1 on a 10-game Spring Break trip to Florida.
